Please note that all measurements throughout our website are in mm. All prices inclde VAT at the current rate. All radiator covers are provided flat-packed for easy home assembly.

MEASURING NOTE: The INTERNAL sizes are the MAXIMUM radiator size that this cover will fit over, include in the length the overall valve to valve measurement of your radiator. The height is the floor to top of your radiator and the depth is the wall to front of your radiator. You can of course have a larger radiator cover than the size of your actual radiator, but always make sure that the maximum EXTERNAL measurements will fit in your space i.e. check that window cill heights, alcoves or obstructions will not block where a larger radiator cover is to be fitted. All imported cabinet dimenions have a tolerance on dimensions of +/- 5mm. All UK manufactured cabinets are accurate to 0.01mm.

Important: Many ready made covers and bookcases are imported and all are provided flat packed for easy home assembly. All ready made covers are only available in the set sizes and finishes as listed with no variations possible. They are all imported and manufactured from 15mm MDF with 3mm grilles other than the Squares & Lines, Traditional, New England and Stars covers which are manufactured in our own facility from 18mm MDF with 4mm grilles.

Finishes
Plain MDF Covers - These are supplied in plain (unfinished) MDF for you to paint as you require. Please note that MDF is not suitable for staining unless it is wood veneered.
Primed MDF Covers - These are supplied finished with a high build mdf white primer. The product you receive will then be ready for you to sand before painting/finishing yourself.
White MDF Covers - These are supplied fully finished in a hard wearing satin white paint. Please note that none of the white cabinets are finished in a "brilliant white" shade and satin refers to the finish (i.e. 60% gloss additive) and not the shade of white.
Wood Veneer Covers– These are supplied with real wood veneer on an MDF base and are supplied fully finished with a hard wearing lacquer.

All primed and fully finished cabinets will be primed/painted/lacquered on the top and front surfaces only. Rear edges and undersides of all cabinet parts inc inside edges of grille panels (exc visible underneath section of the top lid) will not be fully finished.

Please note that every care has been taken to ensure that the description and specifications are correct at the time of publication. However, while the colour/position of design reproduction is a close representation, a slight variation in the actual goods may occur. Care should be taken not to rely on the colour/shade of a product from pictures reproduced on the internet or printed pictures as the colours/shades viewed will vary between monitors and printers depending on the settings, resolution etc. Please also note that wood is a natural product and therefore there will always be variations in shade, grain etc on all veneer products.

Grilles
Grille panels (where applicable) are supplied pre-fitted to the cabinets. The grilles on all radiator covers are for decorative purposes and are fairly delicate (3mm on imported and 4mm thickness on UK made cabinets) and with approx 50% airflow. Care should therefore be taken when finishing primed and plain MDF cabinets to ensure not too much pressure is applied during painting/sanding so as to damage the grilles and we would always recommend placing the panels on a flat surface for painting (further info in the FAQ section).

The decorative grilles will prevent people from being able to touch the radiator beneath but they will not support any weight or applied pressure. Should you require a more robust front panel (e.g. for areas where children may play etc) then we would reccomend a cabinet without a decorative grille panel (e.g. squares and lines or soft bars) or one with a more robust grille such as New England which utilises a slatted 6mm grille or stars design which has smaller grilled areas.

On all UK manufactured cabinets with grilled panels i.e. traditional deisgn, you will find that the grille panels are aligned so that the pattern is in line across all the grille panels. However, with all imported cabinets the grilles are cut to size and positioned in place without aligning the pattern and it is therefore possible that the grille pattern will not follow through from one grille panel to another in cabinets with more than one grille panel.

Please note that all grille panels are "stamped" to create the design and therefore, on close scrutiny, none of the edges of any of the grille design apertures will be perfectly "clean", particularly on the imported cabinets. This is normal and does not detract from the overall appearance of the cabinets. If however this is an issue for you, we would suggest selecting a cabinet without grilled panels.

Assembly & Fitting
All our covers require home assembly. Different designs have different assembly requirements, and you will need basic DIY tools. Radiator cover weight depends on size, although covers are designed to be floor standing, for safety we recommend that covers be fixed back to the wall with the fittings provided to stop them falling forward causing injury or damage.

Please ensure your cabinet is kept in dry conditions prior to assembly as exposure to damp may result in a slight swelling of the MDF fibres and may render it difficult to assemble your cabinet as they need to fit into tight slots and rebates that are machined to be tight so any swelling may make this difficult or impossible.

Delivery
Delivery Charges are calculated at CHECKOUT. Delivery charges are based on MAINLAND UK delivery (excluding some AB, KW, IV, PH, PA & ZE postcodes) where supplements apply at checkout. Supplements also apply to Scilly/Isle of Wight but we are unable to arrange delivery to any other off-shore locations.

Standard UK mainland charges for ready made radiator covers: £9.50 per radiator cover.

Dispatch normally approx 2-3 working days unless clearly indicated otherwise on the product's ordering page other than for cabinets manufactured by ourselves (Traditional, New England, Stars, Squares and Lines designs) which are only grilled, primed, painted and packed  to order so please allow approx 10 working days for plain MDF and 20-25 working days for primed/white but please see detailed delivery information for current dispatch times and details of any forthcoming holiday closures etc. These dates are usually longer during our busy Nov-Feb period. All ready made cabinets are available in stock for immediate dispatch unless otherwise detailed on the product page, and would routinely be dispatched within 2 working days. If you order a combination of ready made/stock items and made to measure Products or out of stock items or a combination of made to measure Products in different finishes, these will routinely be dispatched together on completion of the made to measure Products/arrival of the out of stock items. If you require an earlier delivery of the ready made/in stock items on a mixed order then please let us know at the time of ordering and we will arrange this.
